To Jesus Through Mary in 33 Days

Since the launch of the Hearts Afire program on Divine Mercy Sunday, 2012, there have been many groups forming at parishes around the country and in Canada. In fact, since April 15, 2012, 7,000+ people have consecrated, and hundreds more are currently in the process of consecrating to Jesus through Mary with 33 Days to Morning Glory. It's amazing! The attrition rate is unbelievable and people ALL turn and run it again, inviting more people and starting more groups.

This shouldn't be surprising, because when people let Mary into their heart, she doesn't come alone, she comes with her Spouse, the Holy Spirit, the principal agent of evangelization and as such... Catholics are evangelizing and they don't even know it!

We have made it very simple for those interested in Hearts Afire to form a group and run the 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat! Perhaps that's you. Perhaps it is one of your friends. Perhaps it is you and your friends running it together! (That's always the best, to surround yourself with good faithful people and form a core team to run the study, and then, to have fun doing it.) We suggest doing the retreat first with a small group and then building leaders form that group that will help promote and run the retreat on the parish level. Nothing gets people interested like hearts that are already on fire!

The first part of the program is 33 Days to Morning Glory, an extraordinary 33-day journey to consecration to Jesus through Mary with four giants of Marian spirituality: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and Blessed Pope John Paul II. This 6 week program is life changing! The book masterfully summarizes their teaching, the retreat companion allows you to go deeper into your heart and relationship with Our Lady and her Son, the small group experience invites an amazing community dynamic, and the DVD presentation by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC takes all of it and makes it simple to put into practice in everyday life.

You'll be able to get a good idea of the program from there. You should then order the Coordinator Kit. It is wonderfully priced and gives you everything you'll need to run a fruitful retreat. Also, be sure to register on our website as a leader. This opens the door to many downloads, videos, and iterations with other leaders.

One great thing to note is that bishops are inviting the people of their diocese to do 33 Days to Morning Glory. Bishop Jenky in Peoria, Illinois, invited his diocese with a great letter to all that you can read, and Archbishop Naumann in Kansas City did the same.

It is our hope that together we can light hearts on fire with a love of Christ and spreading the Gospel.
